Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity Chapter Meeting Minutes Delta-Upsilon Zeta Monday October 2, 2006 Jacksonville University Nelms 1 6:00 PM Our Mission: The individual members and overall chapter of Delta-Upsilon Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity will achieve and maintain: 1) Academic excellence: maintain a 2.4 last semester and cumulative GPA. 2) A standard of brotherhood and exceed the Standards for Chapter Excellence. 3) Financial stability: i.e., pay bills on time. 4) Active participation: 75% attendance at all chapter functions. Our Vision: It is the vision of the Delta-Upsilon Zeta of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity to create a superior fraternity of men that set the standard of excellence, both on campus and in the community, while constantly striving to fulfill and surpass the individual membership obligations of Lambda Chi Alpha as stated in the Standards for Chapter Excellence. I.Call to Order 6:15 PM Creed Roll Call. Absent – Chris Fowler, Chase Smith, Patrick Gidusko, Billy Angstadt, Chris Mitchell I.Officer Reports -High Alpha- ADPi philanthropy is this week. Homecoming is next week, Mock Rock is then too. Got a letter from Gamma Phi Beta and Gamma Eta saying congrats on the new AMs. -High Beta- Pumpkin Bust t-shirts are using the one design that was submitted, will be re-scheduled because of sorority initiations. It will now be November 5th to the 11th. 50% of the football money from the game on the 5th will go towards the philanthropy. Bag drop is October 29th and pick up on November 11th. Next football game is on October 8th. Meet 11:30 in aptartment. 534. -High Gamma- Chris Fowler, Chase Smith, Patrick Gidusko, Billy Angstadt, Chris Mitchell are absent -High Tau- $2150 in the bank now, $550 owed for opposites, and $2920 for insurance for a total of $3470 still owed this semester. $5700 owed in dues this semester, $3725 were collected so far. The date of I-week was told to the Ams the date is November 13-19. -High Delta- No Report -High Phi- “Top Secret” -High Sigma- No Study hall tonight because we have a soccer game. And it is mandatory for anyone on academic suspension or probation. -High Epsilon- Absent -High Rho- Alumni are planning a retreat for the brothers after elections which are on the 13th. -High Pi- Brother of the Year is Eric Delash. Highest GPA is Chris Fowler. Most Improved GPA is Drew Brown. As an idea for a brotherhood event or a mixer is just going to a football game. -IFC Representative- Need to put together a social calendar we missed dues for IFC($50) and Chapter room($148) because he was told late. Possible all greek Christmas party. And do not trash the Intermural field after the games I we do the season is done -Intramural Chair- Game tonight at 9, next game is Thursday at 9. II.
